Mullineaux – Warmer Days Ahead

In a town full of underappreciated bands, Plasmagora may have been the most underappreciated of them all. Chris Mullineaux and Sam Robertson made smart pop songs that escaped the attention of many football-watching bar patrons over the years. Now, Annapolis’ loss is Brooklyn’s gain as Mullineaux has relocated to the epicenter of the nation’s most vibrant indie music scene. He’s readying the first release under his own name and has been kind enough to leak some advance tracks to Underground Wednesday. An admitted Bowie acolyte, Mullineaux’s swirling synths would not only make Ziggy proud, but New Order as well.

“Endless” may be the best song the Thin White Duke never made. And the “Silence Of Lambs” sliver at the end is priceless.

For old times sakes, an old Plasmagora favorite.

  1. endless is pretty sick and slick

  2. As a former band member before Plasmagora and a childhood friend of Chris’, I just have to say Chris and Sam were and are undoubtedly under-rated in the local scene and playing with them for a time is something that I will never ever forget. Best wishes to Chris – he’s worked hard and long on this! ~ WADE

  3. Mullineux – Way to take the next stop. I will always follow – David Alewalt

  4. I’m very proud of you Chris! – Sarah 😉
